When visiting the museum, with the soft aroma of hot chocolate filling your nose, you will discover the history of the Defroidmont company. You will travel through the world of chocolate from Papua New Guinea, the country where our cocoa beans originate, and return to our workshop in Belgium to discover the numerous production steps from the cocoa bean to the praline.
For more than 25 years, our Master of chocolate has shared his passion: initially with his wife, who joined him from his beginning then with his apprentices with whom he shares his knowledge about the world of premium and fine chocolate. Finally, with his customers, who transform from taster to learner by visiting his Workshop-Museum, which was founded in 2009.
